North East Corfu
The north-east coast of Corfu is rugged, it’s cove-like beaches pebbly and generally smaller than elsewhere on the island offer some of the most spectacular swimming. Like the water, the beaches are clean. As the roads are windy, most people enjoy the freedom of hiring a boat to explore the many coves and various tavernas. The area is home to many villas and has a large community of foreign villa owners who have chosen the area for their holiday homes. It is of no surprise, the scenery is stunning and the area retains its charm, happily unscathed by mass tourism.
